AIRPORT INFORMATION
The primary arrival airport in Puerto Rico for flights is Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan. There are also direct flights to Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla (BQN) and Mercedita Airport in Ponce (PSE).
These direct flights depart from various major U.S. cities, including but not limited to:
Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Hartford, Houston, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York (JFK and Newark Liberty, Orlando, Philadelphia, Providence, Raleigh-Durham, San Antonio, St. Louis, Tampa, Washington D.C., and White Plains.
Hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the SJU airport so you can take a taxi, shuttle, or ride-share option, or rent a car.
Dress / Attire
For ABMA events, comfortable and casual dress is appropriate. Daytime attire is casual and sportswear is customary (golf shirts and slacks or shorts for men: slacks, shorts or skirts/dresses for ladies). Evening activities are “nice” informal or daytime business casual attire, and may include sport coat for men; pantsuits, slacks, skirts/dresses for ladies. The final dinner event is a Caribbean/tropical theme.
Climate
Average temperatures in Puerto Rico in March run in the mid-to-high-80s(F). Functions will be held both indoors and outdoors, so we suggest clothing with layering options.
